Strange question

My cat and I have different taste in movies. I know, I sound like one of those cat people but listen to why I care: When I'm trying to fall asleep I watch movies and if it's a movie he likes he sits quietly for portions of it and drives me a little less crazy.

Anyway, I like comedies. He likes car chases and car explosions, but runs away for "boring" plot moments. Basically Kitty likes it when cars move fast (we live next to the Police Station- so you can guess how often his is staring out the window). Any suggests on a movie that would save what little sanity I have left by calming him down and interest me?

PS: someone IRL did suggest that I put all his favourite scenes on a tape or DVD and play them in the other room to attract his attention, but I don't have the ability to make this. Otherwise, I would have made a tape entirely of the Halls Helicopter commercial, which he loves.

rush hour, rush hour 2, shanghai noon, shanghai knights, nothing to lose, blue streak, etc etc... action comedies are probably your best bet :)

Sounds good to me. Rush Hour 2 was just on but I didn't want to watch it because I hadn't seen the first.

Now I just need to find friends who have these movies. Something tells me I'll have more luck asking male friends ;-)

i have shanghai knights... but you know, thunder bay..
blockbuster has sales on all the time of older movies for like 3-6 bucks, you could check there (it's even cheaper than renting sometimes!) or even chumleighs is a good bet.

my boyfriend says to check out "hot shots" and "hot shots 2," "beverly hills cop" umm... you could look up like 'action comedy' on imdb.com or soemthing... or even google it could work.,
